Ultimate comfort
The Clesana Toilet was designed to combine maximum hygiene with ease of use. It is intuitive to use and comparable to a toilet at home—but without water or chemicals.
Two buttons are all you need: the large button for a number two, the small button for a number one. This is followed by fully automatic, secure sealing in high-barrier film, 100% odor-proof. The system then automatically replaces the film liner and is immediately ready for use again. The control panel reliably indicates when the drawer needs to be emptied, ensuring that use remains hygienic and safe at all times.

Odor barrier
When used in combination with specially developed Clesana high-barrier film liners, Clesana toilets provide an exceptionally effective odor barrier. Independent tests conducted by Fraunhofer IVV confirm a barrier effect more than 800 times greater compared to conventional high-barrier film liners used in other systems.

High level of tightness
Clesana toilet solutions use a patented sealing mechanism that securely seals the high-barrier film in accordance with medical hygiene standards. This reliably keeps germs, bacteria, and liquids contained. Tests conducted by the Fraunhofer Institute confirm the high level of protection: The Clesana bag film has very low water vapor permeability and remains airtight over 70 times longer than comparable films used in other systems.

No chemicals or water
No rinse water, no wastewater, and no chemical additives: The Clesana C1 operates entirely without water using modern dry cleaning technology. Thanks to the innovative thermo-pressure process, the system requires no water supply or wastewater disposal. In this way, the Clesana reduces fresh water consumption, eases the burden on wastewater treatment plants, and protects waterways—without compromising on hygiene and safety.

The Clesana Power Management system combines the functions of a relay and a DC/DC charger, ensuring maximum self-sufficiency in the vehicle. It is connected to a separate backup battery, which ensures a continuous power supply to the toilet during operation.
In standby mode, the backup battery is automatically charged via the Power Management system at a charging current of 2A. Control is conveniently handled via a 12V constant-power cable.
Even if the onboard battery fails, the Clesana C1 remains operational thanks to the integrated backup battery.
We can professionally install the complete power management system, including all connections, directly for you. Our carpenter, Thorsten, has been specially trained by Clesana for installation and customer training.
Preparation:
If necessary, super-absorbent pads can be added before flushing.
Flushing:
Start flushing with the push of a button (select “small” or “large”).
Waste and toilet contents are automatically sealed in a plastic bag and collected in the waste drawer.
The toilet bowl is then automatically prepared with a new liner for the next use.
Emptying & Disposal:
4. The built-in fill level indicator alerts you in advance when the drawer needs to be emptied.
5. To empty the drawer, simply pull it out. The sealed bags can then be conveniently disposed of with household or general waste.
The high-barrier film, developed specifically for medical use, offers exceptionally reliable protection against odors and moisture. This allows the heat-sealed bags to be stored hygienically and safely for days or even weeks.
The Clesana C1 film liners have also been tested for durability. Even under heavy use or when punctured by sharp objects such as screwdrivers or utility knives, the film remains largely intact. Only a minimal amount of the absorbent material escapes.
Another advantage: The high-barrier bags do not tear open uncontrollably but retain their stable structure, thus ensuring additional safety during storage and disposal.
